This article questions whether or not we really need the Federal Education Of Education and Department of Energy. Given that these departments continue to fail at educating our children as well as other nations educate their kids and decades after the energy crises of the 1970s, the article concludes that as a nation and as taxpayer we would be better off without either department and suggests ways to better spend their budget money.

A collateral consequence of having a criminal record is that it is illegal to travel to the USA. Foreigners -even Canadians – who are found to have a criminal record during a border check can be detained and deported. The good news is that it is possible to apply to the US Department of Homeland Security for a US entry waiver, which will permit an ex-con to travel.
