Beatrix was born on 31th January 1938. When she reached the age of two the Germans invaded Holland. Together with her mother Queen Juliana and a little sister, princess Margriet, she fled to Canada. Her father Prince Bernhard staid in England to fight the Germans. After the war she good life a reasonable normal life. In that years she prepared herself for the kingship. In 1966 she married with Claus a german Prince. In 1980 she became queen of Holland, which she still is today.
