The biggest change in American democratic history cameabout as a result of World War II and the introductionof the nuclear bomb. From the mid 40′s to the early50′s two different directions became available for ourgovernment to choose from. One direction was for ourgovernment to embrace the principles of the newlyformed United Nations, which was originally handed allthe tools necessary to civilize this world through asystem of International Law and Order based on theestablishment of an International Bill of Human Rights.
